Me Time

Fast fashion promotes a disposable culture where clothes are worn only once.

Knock-off (n.)

That bag looks like a designer piece, but it’s just a knock-off.

I prefer buying durable shoes that last for years.

Exploitative (adj.)

The documentary exposed the exploitative labor practices of the fashion industry.

Hidden gem (n.)

The best part of thrifting is finding a hidden gem under a pile of old shirts.

“A seat at the table”

A seat at the table.”

A seat at the table” 的人，才擁有「話語權」與「決策權」。

＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿

如何使用 “A seat at the table” ？

“Marketing needs a seat at the table early on, or this product won’t sell.”

“It’s not enough to hire diverse talent; we must ensure they have a seat at the table.

“I’m working hard not just for a raise, but to earn a seat at the table.”

EFL Learners’ Perceptions of Teacher-Centred and Learner-Centred English Classrooms: A Comparative Study

Learner-centred?
